Laurent CLERC (APE 1989) is Deputy director general for Statistics, Economics and International Relations, and Head of the Research at the Banque de France

Arno AMABILE (APE 2014) is President of the Independant AI Observatory of the French Ministry of Justice

Simon HENOCHSBERG (APE 2017) is Chief financial officer for Eramet

Kamil KRZYSZCZYK (APE 2024) is Policy officer for the European Commission

Maxime FAJEAU (PhD 2021), Samuel LIGONNIERE (ETE 2014) and Alexandre MAYOL (PhD 2018) published "Financial innovation and local governments investment" in the International Review of Law and Economics

Camila RAMIREZ (PPD 2023), Veronica FRISANCHO, Evi PAPPA and Chiara SANTANTONIO published "Women in office: The impact of female politicians on gender-based violence reporting" in the European Journal of Political Economy

RECOGNITION & AWARDS


Eva GOSSIAUX (APE 2021, PSE PhD student) received the Best paper by a Junior Researcher Prize at the International Transportation Economics Association Annual Conference for her co-authored paper "The Equilibrium Effects of Urban Air Quality Policies: Evidence from the Grand Paris Low-Emission Zone".

Maria MONTOYA-AGUIRRE (APE 2021, PSE PhD student) received the 2026 Horowitz Foundation Grant.

Guillermo WOO MORA (APE 2021, PSE PhD student) was awarded the Víctor L. Urquidi Economics Prize from El Colegio de México. 

Katharina KAEPPEL (APE 2025, PSE PhD student) the PhD Prize at the European Society for Population Economics Annual Conference. 

Matthieu COUTTENIER (PhD 2012) was awarded the Prize for the Best Essay by the Association Française de Sciences Economiques for L'Economie de la violence (Ed. Les Léonides).
