Margot BELGUISE (APE 2019) and Maria MONTOYA AGUIRRE (APE 2021, PSE PhD student) receive the Young Economist Award from the European Economic Association
Each year, the European Economic Association recognizes young economists whose research makes a significant scientific contribution to their field through the Young Economist Award. At the international level, the association brings together a large community of economists whose work contributes to advancing knowledge in the field.
For the 2026 edition, the EEA has selected Maria MONTOYA AGUIRRE (APE 2021, PSE PhD student) and Margot BELGUISE (APE 2019): the first one for her paper Drug Lords in STEM, and the second one for her paper The Normalization of the Far-Right: When the Salience of Victories Matters.
Congratulations!
