  CARRER UPDATES


David LUBEK (APE 1998) is Chief financial officer for the Fraiking Group, a commercial vehicle rental company.

Isabelle AGIER (APE 2004) is Credentialed evaluator at the Canadian Evaluation Society.

Sofia KIRIUKHINA (EP 2016) is Head of customer operations at TuMeke Ergonomics.

Alexandre VESSEREAU (EP 2021) and David ALIZADEH (EP 2022) are co-Founders of NineSquares A.B, an app development company.

Arev SARGSYAN (EP 2023) is Business banking services product manager at Acba Bank.

Adelaïde FAVRAT (ETE 2009) is Director of accounting and finances at the Caf des Yvelines.

Dmitry SHCHERBAKOV (ETE 2009) is Head of transport and logistics at the Emirates Investment Authority

Iqra SHAIKH (SIA 2024) is Policy analyst at the OECD Nuclear Energy Agency.

Rawaa HARATI (PhD 2014) is Advisor on International Economic Cooperation to the President of Lebanon.

Milena SUAREZ CASTILLO (PhD 2024) published the last chapter of her thesis "Air pollution and children's health inequalities" in the Journal of Environmental Economics and Management. 

Julieta VERA RUEDA (PPD 2018/PhD 2023), Tania BARHAM, Oscar M. DIAZ (PPD 2018/PhD student), Karen MACOURS and John A. MALUCCIO published "Second generation effects of an experimental conditional cash transfer program on early childhood human capital in Nicaragua" in Economics & Human Biology.

RECOGNITION & AWARDS


Stefanie STANTCHEVA (APE 2009) received the 2025 John Bates Clark Medal in recognition of her work combining mechanism design theory, empirical analyses of tax policy and innovation, and surveys on individual preferences.  This prize is awarded by the American Economic Association to American economists or economists practicing in the United States under the age of 40 for their significant contributions to economic science.
