  CAREER UPDATES


Blaise GONDA (APE 2008) is Deputy head for the Development, Bank, Partnerships unit at Agence Française du Développement.

Pierre CHAMOUARD (APE 2019) is Strategic foresight advisor for the Minister for Public Accounts.

Florian BARTSCH (APE 2022) is consultant at the Boston Consulting Group.

Juliette RONSENBERG (APE 2022) is Structured finance associate at Mitsubishi UFJ Financial Group  (MUFG).

William CONNEL GARCIA (ETE 2012) is Deputy head of Unit DG-Grow at the European Commission.  

Daniel BASTIDAS (ETE 2015) is Technical assistance advisor at the International Monetary Fund

Jules CORNETET (PPD 2016) is data scientist for the French National Education Ministry

Tu Anh NGUYEN (PhD 2009) is Director of Macroeconomic projects for VinGroup.



RESEARCH HIGHLIGHTS


Adrien FABRE (APE 2016/PhD 2020), Thomas DOUENNE (APE 2016/PhD 2021) and Linus MATTAUCH published "Majority support for global redistributive and climate policies" in Nature Human Behaviour.

Thomas BREDA (APE 2006/PhD 2012), Joyce SULTAN (ETE 2010), Lola TOUITOU (APE 2023), and others published the article "Rapid emergence of a maths gender gap in first grade" for Nature.

Augustin LANDIER (APE 1998) and David THESMAR (APE 1996/PhD 2001) published The price of our values: The economic limits of moral life in The University of Chicago Press.

RECOGNITION & AWARDS


Youssef SOUIDI (PPD 2017/PhD 2022) received the Jean-Claude Eicher Prize for the Development of Research in Education for his thesis "Politiques d’affection scolaire, ségrégation sociale et compétence des élèves – Essais sur le système scolaire français"

After the Prix de thèse Carine Nourry, Antoine FEREY (APE 2016) received the AFSE Malinvaud Prize for his paper "Sufficient Statistics for Nonlinear Tax Systems with General Across-Income Heterogeneity" (co-authored with Benjamin LOCKWOOD and Dmitry TAUBINSKY).

Antonin BERGEAUD (APE 2014/PhD 2018), Florence JUSOT (APE 1998/PhD 2004), Vincent PONS (APE 2006) and Pauline ROSSI (APE 2012/PhD 2016) have been appointed to the French Economic Analysis Council (CAE).
