Axelle FERRIÈRE (APE 2009) receives a 2025 CNRS Bronze Medal
Axelle FERRIÈRE (APE 2009) received the CNRS Bronze Medal that rewards promising early-career researchers who have already established themselves as specialists in their field, here in economics.
Macroeconomist, Axelle was awarded for her work on tax policy and redistribution. The Medal recoognizes her contribution to developing theoretical frameworks in economics while also offering concrete tools for public policymaking.
After her PhD at the New York University in 2015, Axelle worked for the European University Institute in Florence and at Paris School of Economics from 2018 to 2024, where she was the executive director of the Macroeconomic Risk Chair. She is now an associate professor at Sciences Po.
